![]() This week was all about bedding updates. Simple changes yet they made a big difference. I stayed with the neutrals but added lots of texture with the tufted throw pillows and throw blanket. ![]() Master closet reorganization! A beast of a project to say the least. We are pretty good at decluttering and sorting through our stuff, but over time, things just build up! I admit we used our closet as a storage for all kinds of things. The first step was to eliminate anything we hadn't used in a while because if we hadn't used it, it meant we didn't need it. We also sorted through clothes that didn't fit anymore, containers holding old documents, etc. Took some time and so week 4 was all about cleaning up! Once we decided what we were keeping, I spent week 5 swapping out these bulky hangers for the sleek, non-slip velvet hangers. These were perfect for creating a cleaner look and preventing clothes from falling. Next came organizing clothes using the filing method in a new organizer purchased from Amazon. Finally, the addition of storage baskets is a must. One for aesthetics, and two it's a great way to store other smaller items that don't necessarily belong in drawers. I'm super proud of how this turned out! |
