With Valentine’s Day around the corner, I’m sharing a fun and cute way to enjoy a lovely and hearty (you like my pun there?)breakfast with family or friends! Here are some tips on creating this Valentine’s Day-themed breakfast.
Ingredients:2 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 salt 3 tablespoons granulated sugar 2 tablespoons melted butter 2 and 1/2 cups buttermilk 2 eggs 1 and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Mix the dry ingredients well and set aside. In a separate bowl, whisk the buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla together. Add the melted butter to the flour. Next, add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix until combined. Do not overmix and lumps are perfectly okay here. Use a griddle cooking plate and scoop about a half cup of batter for each pancake. Cool until golden brown and serve with extra butter and warm maple syrup! Enjoy!!
